Pellet extruder for composite thermoplastic 3D printing
Pellet extrusion is also known as Fused Particle Fabrication (FPF) or Fused Granular Fabrication (FGF). The technology works like a regular FDM/FFF 3D printer except that the extruder melts granules or pellets of plastic which are fed through a hopper instead of a filament.
The large size Pellet extruder for composite thermoplastic 3D printing will be much faster and lower cost.
1/ Lower cost
Pellet extrusion system extrudes directly from plastic resin instead of filament, eliminating part of the manufacturing process,as you know the cost of filament is much higher than pellet,so the pellet printing cost can be much more affordable.
Pellet Extrusion enables material cost savings up to nearly 10 times compared to traditional 3D printing filaments.
2/ Faster printing speed
The printing speed of pellet extrusion system is much higher than 3D filament extrusion system. The extrusion rate of our pellet extruder is up to 6KG per hour.
3/More printing material options
Specializing in direct pellet fed 3D printing, the large-format systems enable the use of engineering grade and commodity materials. And there are a large variety of recyclable plastics to choose from.
4/ More nozzle sizes are available
We use easy to Swap nozzle, Nozzle sizes can range from 2mm up to 12mm depending on your application.
5/ Automatic feeding
The pellet feeds our 3D printer continuously and automatically.
6/ Materials keep properties intact.
Materials would lose or transform part of their properties in the filament making process. But our 3D pellet printer work directly with the original material,theoretically our materials will keep all their properties intact.
